Registry Problems Suck.

It's Very Frustrating!

A few weeks ago, I decided it was time to do some computer maintenance. My PC was beginning to run a little sluggish, and little things that aren't supposed to take that long, were taking that long. Very frustrating.

I know how it is, because I've been a computer user for 15 years.

Open a window, and wait 45 seconds. Close a window, wait another 45 seconds. Shut down your computer, wait a few minutes.

An Overgrown Garden?

These are all supposed to take mere seconds, maybe fractions of seconds to complete. And that's how they do after you first install Windows. Well, a lot of the problem can come from your PCs registry, which keeps track of all the settings and programs installed. After a while, it becomes like an overgrown garden, and Windows has to find its way through every time you want ask it to do something.

I Searched. I Found.

In my search for a piece of software that would accomplish the daunting task of digging through my registry and fixing things, or deleting things that shouldn't be there, I found several programs that claimed the ability.

Of the several that I have tried, one in particular stood out from the crowd. For a few reasons.

Reasons I Recommend Registry Easy

  • Easy to use. Pushbutton easy.
  • Very thorough.
  • I didn't have any problems after "cleaning" and "fixing".
  • Schedule option. I now have Registry Easy set to scan and repair on its own once weekly. At a time and day I have designated.
  • Lots of extras. Junk cleaner scans for temp files, and other not needed files and lets you choose which to keep. Memory tweaker lets you adjust some memory settings to improve your PCs performance. General computer optimizer.
  • After running Registry Easy, I noticed a significant performance improvement.

Imagine. Starting your computer up in only a few seconds. Opening and closing windows and tasks in fractions of a second. Instant response. Imagine how much more you could get done.

Imagine Registry Easy.

9.8/10 - I give Registry Easy a near perfect review.

Why not perfect you ask? Well, there were a couple times that after scanning and clicking the "fix" button, and immediately scanning again, Registry Easy still found a few errors under the "Empty Registry Keys" section. Upon clicking "fix" again, it was able to get them all.

This is really a minor issue, compared to the good Registry Easy has done for me, and an issue that I am able to overlook.

Registry Easy has been around for quite some time, and therefore has gone through versions since its creation.

  • Registry Easy 3.0
  • Registry Easy 4
  • Registry Easy 4.2
  • Registry Easy 4.7 (Newest Version)
